MILLIGAN COLLEGE, TN (January 25, 2005) -- Milligan
College bounced back from an eight point first half
deficit to take the lead at the 13:00 minute mark of the
second half, but couldn’t hold on as King College
defeated the Buffs 73-61.
Senior Craig Emmert
again led Milligan with 20 points and seven rebounds.

called Emmert “our leader and workhorse who plays with
extreme energy.”
Joing Emmert with double-digits were senior
Todd Davis
(16 points) and freshman
Yony Kifle
with 14 points. Both Kifle and Davis finished the game
with five rebounds.
After regaining the lead, King kept a two to three point
margin, but then opened it up for good with five minutes
left in the game.
Next
for Milligan is a Saturday match-up with Virginia
Intermont in Bristol. Tip-off is 7:30pm.
In
women’s action, King downed Milligan 79-66.
