Milligan sees growth in cheerleading program

Former Elizabethton High School cheerleading coach and Milligan College alumna Ronda Paulson has joined Milligan's athletic staff as head cheerleading coach.

Paulson brings several years of experience to the program, having served as head cheerleading coach at Elizabethton High School from 1998 to 2002. Last year she served as cheerleading sponsor to the Milligan squad.

Paulson's hiring, along with new scholarship opportunities, are part of Milligan's expansion of their co-ed cheerleading program.

“Our goal is to take the cheering squad at Milligan to the next level,” said Paulson. “We want to not only help lead Milligan in school spirit, but display the intense athleticism it takes to cheer and eventually compete on a national level.” (Read more)
