Accreditation

  • SACS: Milligan College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelors and masters degrees.  Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4500 for questions about the accreditation of Milligan College.
     
  • NCATE: The education program at Milligan is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) (2010 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20036; 202-466-7496). This accreditation covers initial teacher and advanced educator preparation programs.
     
  • ACOTE:  The occupational therapy program at Milligan College is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), a division of The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) (4720 Montgomery Lane, PO Box 31220, Bethesda, MD 20824; 800-652-AOTA).
     
  • CCNE: The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Milligan College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) (One DuPont Circle NW Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036-1120). This accreditation covers the baccalaureate degree program.
