Faculty
Milligan’s faculty have years of professional experience in teaching, coaching, and child development, in both urban and rural settings, as well as public, private, and government settings. Most have doctoral degrees and are recognized and published scholars. Most importantly, they are excellent teachers and caring mentors.
Personal Attention
Milligan’s classes are relatively small, allowing professors to interact closely with students for individual attention and supervision throughout their program.
Internship & Student Teaching
You’ll get extensive field experience in local schools or organizations appropriate to your major and area of interest. A required internship will provide a sustained supervised experience, working directly with master teachers or other organization leaders as mentors. Teacher candidates complete supervised field experiences and student teaching.
