Research Interests:

My research deals with the analysis of multilayer composite structures.  In particular, I study the effects of introducing damping in multilayer beams and plates.  Some relevant fields pertaining to my area of research include ordinary and partial differential equations, mechanics of solids, applied functional analysis, control theory, and engineering.  You can view my Ph.D. thesis by clicking on the following link: Stability results for damped multilayer composite beams and plates

Personal Info:

The picture at the top of the page is of my lovely wife Alison (left) and I (right) during our honeymoon in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  We have been happily married since June 23, 2007.  The photo was taken atop of Hearney Peak (elevation 7245 feet), the highest point in the U.S. east of the Rocky Mountains.
