Assistant Professor, Wellness/Physical Education
Milligan College seeks a tenure-track professor in Human Performance and Exercise Science, to begin fall 2013. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching and have expertise in the area of wellness, physical education, or related area. Teaching load may include wellness, measurement and evaluation, recreation leadership, motor development/learning, nutrition, principles of strength training, research methods, swimming/lifeguarding, and various activity classes. Supervision of student teachers and/or interns in the public schools is also expected. The ideal candidate should have at least a Masters in Physical Education or related area; doctorate or ABD preferred. Teaching licensure in PE and experience teaching K-12 Physical Education is preferred.

DIRECTOR OF ADMISSION
Milligan College seeks an experienced and dynamic leader to fill the key position of Director of Admission. Reporting to the VP for Enrollment & Marketing, the Director provides strategic direction and leadership for a results-oriented admission program that achieves both the annual and long-range strategic enrollment management goals and assists in the development of marketing and communication strategies. Additional responsibilities include developing and executing the comprehensive recruitment plan for the college and collaborating closely with all campus constituents to ensure attainment of recruitment goals. Assistant Professor of Nursing (2 Positions)
Milligan College in Northeast Tennessee invites applications for two full-time tenure track professor positions in Nursing at the assistant professor level, to begin fall 2013. Primary responsibilities include classroom teaching and clinical supervision and mentoring of BSN students caring for adult patients experiencing acute and chronic illnesses. Student advising and providing service on campus-wide and Area of Nursing committees is also expected.
The candidate must have a Master of Science in Nursing . Preference will be given to applicants with a terminal degree (applicants with candidate status will be considered). Only applicants with a recent and strong clinical background in medical/surgical nursing and/or critical care nursing will be considered. Classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate nursing is preferred.

Assistant Professor of Counseling
Milligan College seeks a tenure-track professor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, to begin fall 2013. The successful candidate will teach in a Master’s level program in Counseling that fulfills the educational requirements for licensed professional counselors, and will also teach in an undergraduate psychology program. The candidate must demonstrate excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching, and also be able to supervise the clinical work of graduate students. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to integrate Christian faith within an academically grounded counseling program. An active counseling license is required; the successful candidate will have or secure a Tennessee counseling license. Interest and experience in school counseling would be helpful. A terminal degree in some area of counseling is required.
