My whole family, including my parents, my sister, my aunts, uncles and cousins, all went to Milligan. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to go to Milligan, as well! I loved hearing all of their stories of pranks, friendships, romances and activities. As long as I can remember, I have wanted to have the same wonderful college experience.
Milligan is so special because of its tight-knit community. I love the small, quaint, closeness of it all. It’s a place where you know everyone on campus, where the professors know you and genuinely care about you, and where you can be free to grow and question and learn and experience God and others in a new and exciting way. You really learn who you are and learn to think for yourself. It’s a place where you are loved to the nth degree, and are challenged to go out and love the world the same way!
Everything I have learned at Milligan has come back to Christ. Whether I am sitting in humanities class, spending time in the dorm with my friends, or talking to my professors, somehow it all leads me back to Christ. It teaches me that no matter what I am doing, to always bring glory and honor to my God. This is seen consistently through my peers and professors at Milligan. Milligan has given me such an amazing foundation to be a follower of Christ and has prepared me for whatever God calls me to in the future.
