Leaders in Christian Service
Tuesday, April 8 | Milligan College

Identifying professionals who are shining examples of Christian leadership in the workplace, community and church

Do you know someone who is a shining example of Christian leadership beyond the walls of the church? A doctor, a teacher, an artist, a business person — whatever their profession, they advance the cause of Christ and exemplify a stewardship of their life, influence and resources. Recommend this person as a Leader in Christian Service so that we all may learn from his or her example. Consideration is given to the following three areas:

• excellence of Christian character
• strong Christian example through professional or vocational leadership
• evidence of Christian leadership in the church and community

An independent review committee will review recommendations and select those to be recognized, who will be notified in early April.

Those being honored will be recognized at a special convocation service in Seeger Chapel on the Milligan College campus on Tuesday, April 8.

“Let your light so shine before men so they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.”

--Matthew 5:16

Marketplace Christians
“God has almost always chosen to use people of the marketplace to lead revivals, transform societies and enlarge the kingdom of God. We are called to be ministers of Christ, whether we work on Wall Street or in a pulpit, and to worship Him every day. Whatever our calling, be it clergy, coach or accountant, our “job” as Christians is to help win our world to Christ, to contribute to revival, to lead the way to moral restoration within our nation and to transform our towns and cities through God-empowered activities in the marketplace.”
